DO YOU SUPPLY THE ALCOHOL?

We can facilitate your order through a retailer and have it delivered, or pick it up ourselves. Legally we cannot purchase the alcohol for your event, as we are a BARTENDING SERVICE ONLY, and do not sell alcohol.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED AND WILL YOU TRAVEL?

We are located in northeast Houston, and serve primarily the greater Lake Houston area. Travel within Harris county is included in our base package pricing but it would be a waste of our wheels not to be up for a road trip! If you'd like RumYum to join you where your event is located, contact us so we can discuss the details.

DO YOU HAVE MENU PACKAGES I CAN CHOOSE FROM FOR MY EVENT?

Yes! We have three basic menus you can choose from for standard bartending packages: a Caribbean Classics menu, a Tiki Delights menu, and RumYum Standards menu you can choose from, each consisting of 5 cocktails that can be served for a budget of $175 (alcohol and supplies cost) or less.

CAN YOU SERVE COFFEE/TEA?

Yes! We love cocktails but we love coffee (and tea) just as much. We can serve locally roasted coffee, delicious hot chocolate, and locally sourced tea. and we would love to follow up your cocktail hour with a coffee hour! This is a great option for dry brunch events, baby showers and coffee/dessert functions. Ask about our coffee packages when you book! 

CAN YOU CREATE CUSTOM/ORIGINAL COCKTAILS FOR MY EVENT?

Absolutely! One of the things we specialize in is creating unique, memorable cocktails specifically for our clients. While our main focus is rum, we can work with any base spirit(s) of your choosing. You tell us what spirits you enjoy, your flavor profile(s), and we’ll get to work! For a good example of what we’ve done for previous parties, see one of our creations, “Down In New Orleans,” we created for a retirement party!

WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY?

We require a 50% deposit to confirm your reservation. You'll receive a full refund, minus a $50 administration fee, if you cancel more than 60 days from your event date, 50% of the deposit if you cancel more than 30 days from your event. Cancellations made within 30 days of your event will not be refunded. Reschedules are allowed for no additional fee but the refund policy is still based upon the original event date.

DO YOU HAVE AN INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY?

Unfortunately, due to our advanced booking model, we can not accommodate rain dates. The host is responsible for tent cover of the bar in the event of inclement weather. We are happy to work with your tent vendor to find the appropriate size tent for your event.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO WE NEED TO BOOK?

Dates during peak season book up well in advance, but cancellations are possible, so it's always worth reaching out to see what we have available. That being said, earlier is always better.
